  • August 26, 2020

Universal Health Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of three talented nurse practitioners to their team. The senior living medical staffing provider welcomed Alvesha Williams, FNP-C, Julia Lizotte, FNP-C, and Keisha Berry, FNP-C. The providers will serve three health and rehabilitation facilities across the Danville and Martinsville areas, marking the launch of Universal Health’s service in southern Virginia.

“We’re excited to be supporting such a wonderful community of people,” said Joseph Park, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Universal Health. “In just a short time, we’ve created meaningful partnerships with the care providers at each of these facilities and have already seen the positive impact our teams are making on the patients.”

Each practitioner brings unique experiences to the Universal Health team. Berry has more than ten years of experience in nursing and most recently served in the US Air Force treating airmen for mental health disorders. She has treated patients at all levels of care in multiple hospitals and health care practices across the United States. Lizotte received her Master of Science in Nursing at Simmons College in Boston and has experience in cardiology and adult primary care. She has also worked in a regional Level I Trauma Center. Williams previously spent time at Hillsdale Family Practice and Kernersville Pediatrics where she diagnosed and managed care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric phases of life. She also has specialized knowledge in podiatry.

Each Universal Health professional will be supporting the care efforts of Internist Dr. Alfonso Brochero, who serves as the board-certified medical doctor for all three centers. Universal Health Corporation provides world-class rehabilitation services in areas such as accident recovery, cardiac and stroke care, post-surgical support, respiratory diseases, and skilled nursing.
