Universal Health is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner, Brooke McDaniel to its team. Brooke is an experienced internal medicine nurse practitioner with an in-depth understanding of care for patients with complex medical histories. She specializes in geriatric primary care. McDaniel will be providing treatment and coordinating patient care with the medical director and clinical staff of its New River Valley Center.

That fits perfectly with our patient-centered mission.”
McDaniel comes to Universal Health with 11 years of experience, including diagnosing and treating patients with acute conditions and managing patients with chronic diseases. In her previous position at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, McDaniel worked with an interdisciplinary medical team to care for patients in critical care and primary care settings. She also served as a preceptor for new graduate and staff nurses.
McDaniel’s academic training includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. She holds a certification as a licensed nurse practitioner with a specialization in Adult Gerontology Primary Care.
