Dr. Brochero: My name is Dr. Alfonso Brochero. I am the President and lead physician for Universal Health Corporation. I am here today to answer your questions regarding COVID-19 vaccines.

Scenery: On screen text appears in front of another floating blue “viral” molecule. Text reads: Is the COVID-19 vaccine safe?

Scenery: Dr. Brochero appears in front of a white background again.

Dr. Brochero: One of the most common questions we encounter is regarding COVID vaccine safety. I can assure you that this vaccine is safe. We know that this vaccine has undergone the four phases that every other vaccine that has ever come to market ever…done. Some of the phases are phase 1 through 4, but more importantly—Phase 3 used 30 to 50 thousand patients for testing. Usually, for previous vaccines, it has been required to use 3,000 to 5,000 patients to be tested.

Scenery: Dr. Brochero appears in front of a white background again.

Dr. Brochero: One of the most common questions asked is regarding side effects. Side effects of this vaccine are very similar to previous vaccines. Some of the most common side effects we see are headaches, fever, chills, and muscle aches, as well as small local tenderness. Most of these side effects are short-lived. By that, I mean 24-48 hours.

Scenery: On screen text appears in front of floating blue “viral” molecule. Text reads: Do I need the vaccine if I already had COVID-19 before?

Dr. Brochero: I got COVID-19, or I have a test that shows I have immunity against the disease. The question here is, do I need the COVID-19 vaccine? The answer is yes, it is safe and will only add extra protection against COVID-19 infection.

Scenery: On screen text appears in front of floating blue “viral” molecule. Text reads: Who should get the vaccine?

Dr. Brochero: Another question that has been asked of Universal Health Corporation is who in the nursing homes need to be vaccinated? The CDC has recommended that all staff, and that includes every person employed by a nursing home, should be vaccinated first, followed by all of the patients that reside in these nursing homes.
